Life kinda got in the way and November was just a busy busy month.

My family and I went on a vacation to Singapore for 10 days and when we got back, I had to play catch up on all my club, workshop and UStamp commitments.

So, while I've been gone from the blogging world, I've made a few projects. One of which is my UStamp project and here is the sneak peek for that:

1st Ustamp project:

Holiday Headbands

If you would like to see the tutorial for this project, all you have to do is visit the Ustamp site and register for the event "Get a Jump on Your Jingle, Holiday Papercrafting 2010". At first, I was just going to create another blog and let this one go but reading through my older posts, I couldn't bear to just delete it. So, I am starting over with this post and hope to post more often with some projects that I will be making using Stampin' Up products.

So....I will keep this short but sweet! I am back! So, check out for more posts soon.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-38072514579078710752008-04-29T21:52:00.000-07:002008-04-29T22:09:08.114-07:00Just Because I Don't Want to Forget the Moment...There's a lot going on in my life right now. I've been so busy with cleaning the house, with trying so come up with something to do to make extra money, with lots of different unfinished projects, laundry, visa paperwork and so on. In the midst of it all, I had forgotten to notice the big differences in my children. Not that I don't take care of them or don't pay much attention to them, but I just didn't notice how fast they were growing up. I guess it's just the Mommy in me that just want to keep thinking of them as my babies no matter how big they are getting.

Yesterday when I picked up Shawn from school I found him kneeling on the ground helping his friend to tie his shoe laces for him. This is his friend who is probably at least 4-5 inches taller than him but apparently can't tie his own shoe laces. As Shawn finished tying the shoelaces carefully (just the way Daddy taught him) , his friend said "thank you" and Shawn said "you're welcome". Seeing this little gesture made me so proud of my son because he was not ashamed to drop down on the ground to help his friend tie his shoe laces. When I was little, I thought tying shoe laces was so hard and when I learned to do it, I was so proud of myself. Seeing Shawn do it for a friend, made me realize how grown up he's getting. My baby is now turning out to be a really smart, polite and helpful little boy. I've always had people compliment me because of how well behaved my kids are but that little moment I witnessed was special to me and I wanted to write about it just so I don't ever forget...Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-23432332299850583752008-04-14T01:47:00.000-07:002008-04-14T03:01:23.033-07:00Green Tangerines Garage Sale and other shopping finds!Okay, I think I enjoy shopping way too much and this week, well, I shopped a lot. Mostly it's scrapbook related things.

An LSS 30 minutes away from my house called Green Tangerines had their very first garage sale this weekend in celebration of their first year anniversary. Well, I brought over some of my stuff to sell but I also went there on Saturday morning to shop. When I brought my stuff over last week, I saw a paper organizer/rack that was going to be sold for only $25 and I wanted that really badly since I have been trying to re-organize my space and needed something for my ever growing paper collection. They said I can't purchase it until the sale on Saturday so I tried to be there early. The store opened at 9:00a.m and I was there at 9:05 thinking it was early enough. Boy was I wrong! When I got there, there was already a lot of people browsing through 2 rooms full of scrapbook stuff. So, of course what I really came there for wasn't there anymore but I still managed to get quite a bit of stuff.

I got this Scrap-O-Dex for only $8.00. This is like a bigger version of a Rolodex. I've been wanting one but couldn't get myself to pay the retail price of about $24.99 (I think).

I got this set of 20 Stampin' UP cardstock with a matching stamp pad for only $3.00.

I got this Brand New Doodlebug acrylic stamp set for $3.00.

I got the MM Rub-ons for $1.00 and the Karen Russell Narratives clear tag set also for $1.00.

Also got these CTMH stamps for $1.00 each. The set of faces was still brand new. I thought they would be cute to have with the Paper Dolls Dress UP cartridge I bought last week for my Cricut Expressions.

I got all these really pretty Karen Russell Narratives Line overlays for only $1.00 each too. I got 6 pieces. I thought the playing cards one would be cute to cut up and use on my 7 Gypsies ATC Holder.

The best find that day was this ziplock bag full of embellishments for only $2.00. Just for the Bazzill with an Edge alone retails for $2.99. The Cloud9 Designs Epoxy Paper Clips retails for about $4.99. Then there's a KI Memories Gel Candy and Icicles Ice Candy and a whole lot more other stuff. I didn't really like the stickers that was included but oh well, I didn't care.

Also, when I dropped off the stuff I was selling, they had just gotten their shipment of the new Heidi Swapp papers and of course I had to get some. I was scared that if I waited till I get my credit from the garage sale that the ones I want will be gone so I bought it that day. They even let me take the papers straight from the plastic wrapping since they weren't on the floor yet.

Here are a couple pictures of the stuff I bought that day. I also bought some MME journaling tags and a KaiserKraft wooden Floral Hanging Keepsake. I have been wanting these papers since I saw a preview of them from CHA. I was so happy to be able to finally get them.

Another happy purchase was this Becky Fleck Sketch Book that I got at Beverly's Crafts. I was able to get it with my 50% off coupon so I only paid $12.50 for it. I was never really a sketch book person and when it comes to books, I always want to see them in person first before I buy them just so I know if it's really something that I would want. I have heard and read a lot of great things about this book and so when I saw it, I just knew I had to get it and looking through it the other day, I just know it will be something I'll use often. I really like it. It comes with little flash cards with sketches on it and a layout she made using the sketch on the back of the card and it also comes with a little box to put the cards in. If you like sketches, this is the book to get. I think I like it more than the Becky Higgins Sketch book.

Oh, and how could I forget my new shoes!!! I'm loving the color of these. It's my favorite color, PINK. I actually got this from the kids section at Mervyns. I'm usually a size 7 on womens but this is a size 5 from the kids department and they fit pretty good. Price tag : $12.99. Not too bad, huh?

Well, that's all folks! This has been such a looooong post. I'm just so happy with these cute stuff I found. Don't know if getting them at a great deal was what makes me happier. I just love shopping and getting stuff at bargain prices is just great!Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-46862267891152352292008-04-11T08:17:00.000-07:002008-04-11T08:29:18.711-07:00Antique Store FindI went to an antique store last weekend with my husband. I wanted to look for some buttons because I heard that antique stores are a good place to find really nice ones. Anyway, they had a bin full of buttons in little ziplock baggies. I bought 3 for $.50 each.

My favorite baggie is the ones that had these really cute buttons:

And my favorite button out of all of them is this cute little Snoopy button. I am so thankful we got the warranty for it. I got it back last week and used it again last weekend and took a whole bunch of pictures. We had an Easter Egg Hunt in our community and the kids had lots of fun. Here are my favorite ones...

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; I am totally amazed at how much love I've been receiving lately. I am so not used to all this attention being showered on me because I'm usually the one spoiling everyone around me!

So, with all that said, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves...

First off, I had been looking for the Martha Stewart Scallop Heart Punch and couldn't find it around me so when Aleida, from Studio Calico message board put out a "HELP" post about the punch and someone found it for her, I thought maybe I could ask too. Well, I did and sure enough, Michelle found one for me and she sent it to me without even waiting to get paid. That was really awesome! I got the package yesterday but just finally opened it today.

Here is a picture of me with my punch from Michelle! Do you see that smile??

Here's another one with an even bigger smile!

And here's one with my really excited smile just like one of my daughter's pictures!

As if that wasn't enough, I also received the package that Dawn, also from Studio Calico had sent me with the autographed business card of Donna Downey. She had a class with Donna last weekend and I had posted that I love Donna Downey so she had asked her for an autograph for me! How sweet! Even when she's having a blast, she still thought of her newly found online friend :-)

So, you think that's enough for one day??? NO! I got another package this time from April. She said she was going to send me a "little something" to celebrate my 100th post on the Studio Calico message board but OH MY GOSH, this little something is not little at all. It had all kinds of goodies in there and even though I thought I had lots of stuff already, all of the stuff she sent me are things I don't even have. She also surprised me with the Heidi Swapp Butterfly mask that I had been looking for too. By this time, I couldn't take a picture of myself anymore because I couldn't help but cry! I kept asking myself, what did I do to deserve all of these?

This was everything she sent me! I love the little box with the ribbon. What I love most of all is the handmade card. Inside the heart shaped box were lots of chipboard crowns and stuff along with some tags and buttons.

This is what was in that little paper box with the ribbon. It has lots of little cute things like felt flowers, Heidi Swapp Ghost shapes, and that little adorable embossed birds in different colored cardstock. It is so amazing! I love everything!

Also today, my bestfriend and I went out and she treated me out for lunch at Olive Garden. I had told her before that I had never been there because since my husband is so picky when it comes to food, he wouldn't have anything to eat there so she decided to treat me out there for lunch. I had Chicken Marsala and it was DELICIOUS.

So, what could be better than a day like this???? Again, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, to Michelle, Dawn and April! You guys are simply the best! How can I ever pay your generosity? Just know that I will never forget this day! You made me feel soooo special and loved.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-88969576920188705842008-02-24T19:39:00.001-08:002008-02-24T19:46:43.838-08:00My New Happy Little Rain Boots!

I got this new boots a couple of days ago from Mervyns when I saw that they were having a sale for 70% off. I had an additional 15% off burning a hole in my purse that was expiring soon and I've been wanting to buy a rain boots so I thought this was the best time to get it. It's been raining a lot here lately, in fact, in rained almost all week and I hate getting my nice shoes wet and when I saw this, I just had to get it. I love the colors and it's very comfortable. I think they're "happy" colors. I wore it for the first time last night and I just love it. My husband doesn't like it of course because he has such a "plain" taste for anything and he thinks it's so "bold" looking but I absolutely love it so it doesn't matter since I'm the one who will be wearing it not him. I even got a compliment from some stranger last night as I was walking back to my car at Michael's parking lot :-) So, wanna know how much I paid? It was originally $45 but I walked away with it for just a little bit over $12 after taxes. I thought it was a good buy!Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-37926390327595721472008-02-22T23:32:00.001-08:002008-02-22T23:57:45.594-08:00Gilda's Carbonara Spaghetti
I have been wanting to post this recipe here for a while to share. It's a dish that I have been asked to make several times by my friends because they loved it. I have loved Carbonara since I lived in Japan but when I came here to the US, I haven't been able to find a place that serves it so one morning when I was watching The Filipino Channel, this Filipino Cooking Teacher (not really sure if he's a chef) Sandy Daza was making his family's version of Carbonara and of course I had to watch it. Some of the stuff he had in his recipe are stuff I don't eat and I also like my spaghetti with a lot of sauce, so I altered it a bit to my taste and came up with my own.

It's really easy to make but it's very yummy!

Here is the recipe:
Spaghetti Noodles
1 package of Thick Bacon (cut into strips)
3 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
3 cubes of Chicken Bouillon
Salt
Pepper
2 Extra Large Eggs or 3 Large Eggs (unbeaten)
2/3 cup of Parmesan Cheese
3 tablespoons of minced garlic
1 cup water

Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions or as you like your noodles then set aside.
Cook your bacon until it turns brownish in color and until most of the fat is cooked. Then drain as much fat as you can from the Bacon and add the minced garlic. When the garlic is golden brown, add the cup of water then wait till it is boiling a little bit and add the chicken bouillon cubes. Continue to mix until the cubes are melted. Add the Heavy Whipping Cream and Salt & Pepper (to taste). Wait for it to boil while mixing occasionally.

When the mixture becomes a little bit thicker, add the noodles and on top, add the eggs and the parmesan cheese. Mix really well for about a minute and it's done. Enjoy!

***If you have left over, refrigerate it and when you're ready to have more, just heat it up on the stove and add a little bit of heavy whipping cream or milk so it's not too dry. The noodles will suck up all the sauce so it will be dry after refrigerating it.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-12080206751248253512008-02-21T22:40:00.001-08:002008-02-21T23:14:01.710-08:00Back again....with a project finished!Okay, I'm back again. I have no idea why this blogging thing is really not working really well for me! I keep promising to update more or at least even once a week but it doesn't happen. Every time I feel like I want to update, I feel like I need to post some kind of picture to make it somewhat interesting. The problem with that is, I am very lazy with uploading my pictures to my computer. It usually happens only when my memory stick is full and that is one of the bad side about having a pretty big memory capacity. In other words, I'm the biggest procrastinator!!! So, there, I admit it!

So, last night, since I couldn't sleep, I thought I might as well make good use of my time and start a project I've been wanting to do. Since seeing the inspiration about a month ago from Becky Higgins' Website, I had started looking for all the materials I needed to do the project but I got kind of busy with stuff and never really got around to it till last night.

Here is her version of the project:

And here is my version:

I got the plate holder from Michaels at the clearance section. The original price was $29.99 but it was clearanced for $12.00 and I was able to use a 40% coupon on top of that.

The frames were bought from Walmart for $1.98 each.

I printed the pictures from my own printer after editing them in Photoshop Elements. I kind of made a boo boo and messed up on the size of the picture. It was supposed to be an 8 x 10 picture and that is what I had put the size to be but I didn't know that I had to check the box that says "crop to size" so it will actually be an 8 x 10 photo after it's been printed. That is the reason there is a white space on the top and the bottom. I was going to reprint the photos but I didn't have enough photo papers to print them on so I decided to just stick with it knowing that I probably would want to change the pictures later on anyway. David put it up for me when he came home from work and I am really loving it. On each of the picture it says the words "Always", "Love", "One", "Another". My favorite photo is the last one of my two kiddos. Don't they just look adorable???

So, one project on my list has been checked! Yay for me!Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-4795420584048378292008-01-29T02:50:00.000-08:002008-01-29T03:09:18.241-08:00Finally...a new episode of House is airing tomorrow!<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4UoyEtAjDMRh54ZzfXHeWtAyhpqsh32pkP9HMYWzdtrPjYj9PzvesSEPHtCKAtXHUPSoCsszr7vn2ihe7fNzz9PDXesjvdpaP91bJmKQoMkRlO8ORKLZCqsoytV-c451hyukB/s320/home_hugh.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5160852995563573234" />

Since around Christmas time, David and I had been so addicted to watching House. We've rented every single DVD that is out and even watched the ones from the internet that we had missed.

We watch this show so much that even Sophia likes it but Shawn doesn't like watching the parts where he could see blood. He covers his eyes until that particular scene is over. Sophia likes it so much that she even says that Dr. House is her boyfriend!

Having the DVD was nice since we didn't have to wait another week to watch the next episode but since we've watched everything there is to watch, and with the writer's strike that had gone on, we've been waiting for a while for the next one.

Now, just a few more hours and I can't wait. For sure we'll be watching it tomorrow night (or should I say later tonight since it's already almost 3 in the morning?).

Another reason for more snuggling with my hubby on the couch!Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-4117392838991367742008-01-21T21:42:00.000-08:002008-01-21T22:06:07.672-08:00Happy Monday!!!I had a great long weekend! I feel like I've accomplished so much and I haven't had that feeling in so long.

After the new year, as most people do, I actually had set a New Year's Resolution. I don't normally do that since I know it can get hard. It's kind of like a promise but it's usually broken.

Anyway, for me, this year, I wanted to be able to lose at least 30 more pounds before my birthday in July. I also wanted to learn how to sew and learn more in Photography and Photo Editing.

Well, I started going to the gym again last week. I actually made it there 3 times last week and I'm so happy about that. Hopefully I do better this week. On my last post, I had posted my measurements and I will try to continue doing that every Monday. So, for this week, I'm very happy to say that I did lose some weight. Yay!

Jan. 14, 2008 Jan. 21, 2008

Weight: 159 pounds 155.5 pounds
Bust: 39.5 inches 38.5 inches
Waist: 35 inches 34 inches
Hips: 40 inches 39.5 inches

In regards to the sewing thing, I actually hemmed for the very first time yesterday. I went to Lori's house for a few hours and I was able to hem a pair of my jeans and I actually wore it today. It was a nice feeling and I feel like I had gone shopping for new jeans. I also repaired a pair of pants that I have that had a hole on both sides of my hips. I have no idea what happened to that but it was one of my favorite jeans to wear and I hadn't been able to wear it for a while now since I noticed the ripped sides. I also sewed a Travel Tissue Holder. The first one I made was too small so I made another one and I gave it to Maleah. Oh my gosh, I was so proud of myself. In one afternoon, I hemmed and repaired 2 pairs of jeans and made a small project. I was so happy. Best of all, now I don't feel so scared of my sewing machine. I don't feel too intimidated anymore. I can actually change the thread, put the thread in a bobbin and actually start sewing without looking at the manual! I have more jeans to hem and hopefully I can finish a lot of them this week but I'm so happy that I actually started sewing. It might not be much but it's a great start I think.

As for the Photography and Photo Editing, well, I had originally wanted to take some classes but since I can't right now, I've been going online and taking up free classes. I've been printing out pdf files from the free Photography classes from 2peasinabucket.com and it's been great. I just need to take some time to actually read through them and start playing with my camera.

So, for the most part, I think I'm off to a good start with my goals. David and I also made quite a bit of progress with cleaning the house this weekend too. He's been cleaning in the garage while I was learning to sew and then today, we cleaned in the Living Room and a little bit in the Master's Bedroom. We ate dinner at Chili's and bought a few stuff at Sam's Club.

Oh, on top of that, I also got a new car stereo this weekend that my husband installed for me. My car stereo had been so messed up for a while now and after my husband installed the new one, Wow, I am really loving it. He also finally bought a new windshield wipers for me since my old ones were really really messed up. So, I've been kind of spoiled this weekend and I loved it. It feels great. Loving my husband right now....Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-88382239138544877682008-01-15T18:46:00.000-08:002008-01-15T19:02:02.707-08:00Started going to the gym again!I finally got some motivation and started going to the gym again. I started yesterday and also went today. Yesterday, I weighed myself and took measurements so that I know my starting point.

Last year, I lost 40 pounds but I didn't record where I actually started. All I know is when I started at Weight Watchers and I was at 187 but a couple of weeks before that, I was 193. That was the heaviest I've been without being pregnant. I was having a hard time breathing and standing up for a long period of time and when it started giving me a hard time sleeping because of heart burns, I decided I need to do something about it. I just couldn't stay that way forever.

I found that what works for me is weighing myself every day. I know it sounds like it is too much but it works for me. I find that when I don't weigh myself, it is because I feel guilty for eating too much and knowing I had gained weight. Weighing myself everyday makes me keep myself in check and not lose track of my goal and not let myself go.

So, this year, part of my New Year's Resolution was to lose 30 pounds by my birthday so I'm hoping to lose at least 5 pounds a month. I figured, if I lost 40 pounds last year, I can lose 30 this year.

Anyway, the past week, I have had such bad bad bad cravings for something sweet(brownies) then something salty (salt n vinegar chips) and then the cycle goes on and on again. So, with that said, I gained weight again which is kind of depressing since I've been able to keep my weight off for a few months already and in fact, just last Christmas, I've reached my lowest weight since giving birth to my 6 year old son. I was at 148. Then, after that, I had stopped weighing myself for a while and the next thing I know, yesterday when I weighed myself and I had gained soooo much weight. The weight I had worked so hard to lose had started creeping back.

So, to keep me motivated now, I will post my new starting measurements and weight and update once a week on how much progress I've made.

Week of Jan. 14, 2008

Weight: 159 (I know, I know, shocking!!!)
Bust: 39.5 inches
Waist: 35 inches
Hips: 40 inches

I am hoping to go to the gym at least 3 times a week and hopefully, my update next week will be good news. I'm really really hoping so.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-8827922203940536272008-01-04T03:07:00.000-08:002008-01-04T03:20:57.901-08:00Happy New Year!!! Welcome 2008!Happy New Year! I know it's been a while. Life had been crazy and really busy this past few weeks. Although I was able to rest quite a bit right after Christmas. It felt really awesome! I think my body needed sleep so bad I just couldn't fight it any longer.

Christmas was great for our family but it was really quiet this year for some reason. My in laws were here which was really nice. The kids love it when they come for a visit. They play with them and really spend quality time with them and I really really appreciate that about them.

Presents this year wasn't as elaborate and big as last year but everything was still really special. We didn't buy too many expensive gifts for the kids but with presents from grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors, they still had lots to open. Also, this year, we actually filled their stockings with gifts. It was the first time for me to do that. I've always hung stockings up for them but we never really filled it with gifts. They loved it and of course, those gifts were from Santa. Shawn kept changing his mind of what he wanted from Santa and of course Sophia just copies whatever Shawn wants anyway. At first, he wanted a sleigh, don't ask me why because I don't know. Then he changed his mind and said he wanted a red car with little lightning stickers on it. So, he got a Lightning McQueen car from Santa along with other little things and Sophia got a doll and other little things too. Just today, Shawn was asking me how come Santa didn't get him the sleigh he wanted and I told him that maybe Santa was so busy and didn't have enough time to make him a sleigh for this Christmas. He said, "well, yeah, because I think one of his elf left so he didn't have enough help." I just went along with that theory. That was just an easier explaination although I have no idea where he got that from.

You know what is so crazy about this blogging thing? Every time I make a post, I feel like I am excited to post again but what really keeps me from doing that is that I feel like it's really boring to blog without posting photos and I am very very lazy to upload my new pictures onto my computer. As a matter of fact, as I am typing this, I am uploading some 500+ photos onto my computer. Crazy huh? Well, that's my story about that.

So, since I still need to resize the pictures, I might have to wait to post them here till tomorrow. So, see you then.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-13988314634120091272007-12-09T18:25:00.000-08:002007-12-09T18:32:47.561-08:00Here I am again....Okay, I know, I know, I promised to be better at this blogging thing but of course I've been bad and had forgotten about it again. I swear it's been on my to do list but it just doesn't happen.

So, for now, I'll post a couple pictures of my little kids. They are my current favorite of the two of them. It's very rare that I get to take pictures of them where they're serious or not making silly faces (they like to do that) so I really love these.

I really wish I could take better pictures. I love taking pictures of them and I take quite a bit but I wish I know how to take pictures the right way. Oh well, someday, I'll take some classes.

I'll post more pictures of them doing silly faces next time. I have quite a bit of those.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-27522637213296401462007-11-20T19:24:00.000-08:002007-11-20T19:40:29.386-08:00Just Because....So, the other day I made a list of things to do for yesterday. I actually got quite a bit done from the list and then some but unfortunately, I didn't finish all of what's on the list. This is what I got done:

Go to the gym or walk/run on the treadmill for at least 2 miles.
Didn't make it to the gym but I did walk/run 2.1 miles.
Make our bed. Check
Put dishes away. Check
Wash dishes. Check
Do at least 2 loads of laundry. Check + some
Put laundry away (Ugh, I hate this part) Check
Clean laundry room.
Delete all un-needed contacts on my iPhone (Check)
Add contacts I need. (Didn't get to this because my iPhone's battery was low so I had to charge it.
Clean the computer desk.

There are also things that weren't on my to do list that I actually did too but I won't bore you with that.

Today, I actually got on the treadmill again and walked/ran 2.25 miles in 40 minutes. I am so out of shape. I was huffing and puffing by the time I was done. I haven't been to the gym in a while so I think I shouldn't have been surprised about this. Hopefully, I can keep doing this till I get to the routine again and walk at least 10 miles a week. Now I know that might not be that much but it's a good start for me. I think it was harder for me to keep up exercising than actually starting it.

My family will be having Thanksgiving at my sister in law's house in Salem, Oregon so we will be driving there either tomorrow night or Thursday morning. Depending on what time my husband David gets off from work. So tomorrow, I will be busy packing our stuff to take with us. As usual, another busy day.

I know we'll be taking lots of pictures when we get there so I will be posting pictures here when we come back.

I will try to make another post before we leave but if I can't, Happy Thanksgiving!Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-44658961277809330252007-11-19T08:50:00.000-08:002007-11-19T08:57:13.439-08:00My Favorite Song...Good Morning! Just wanted to post a video of a song that is currently my favorite. Love the song...Love the singer :-)

Will post more later...Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-75869048895454064172007-11-19T01:57:00.000-08:002007-11-19T02:13:07.097-08:00Lazy Day and List Of Chores For TomorrowI had such a lazy day today. Didn't do much all day although there really is a lot of household chores to do. I mean I don't think there is a clean spot in my house. It is so frustrating that I don't even know where to start cleaning even when I feel like it.

So, all I did was sit on the computer for most of the day, cooked meatballs spaghetti (which I will post a recipe on tomorrow), washed some dishes, gave some of my spaghetti to neighbors, watched a dvd movie with my husband (License To Wed) and back on the computer again.

I was trying to download some of the actions I just bought on PSE 6 and of course, since I've never done it before and I have no clue how to do it, it took me forever just to get 1 action finally downloaded. I will have to spend more time there tomorrow and see if I can learn more about it. So frustrating...

Tomorrow, I am hoping to be more productive with my day in terms of house cleaning. Really, I need to do something. Also, I would really like to start going to the gym again so, hopefully I make it there tomorrow. If not, I promise to walk/run on my treadmill even for just a couple of miles.

Okay, I think I do a lot better and feel more accomplished when I make a list of what to do so here is my to do list for tomorrow (not necessarily in order):

Go to the gym or walk/run on the treadmill for at least 2 miles.
Make our bed
Put dishes away.
Wash dishes.
Do at least 2 loads of laundry.
Put laundry away (Ugh, I hate this part)
Clean laundry room.
Delete all un-needed contacts on my iPhone
Add contacts I need.
Clean the computer desk.

Okay, I think that should be good for now. If I can just do at least half of that then it would be a great start. Maybe I should turn my computer off for a couple of hours so I can get more done. Whew, if only it's that easy :-)

Well, if I really want to get things done I guess that means I should go to bed now since it's really late. So.... see you tomorrow.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-21082867887276801242007-11-18T01:12:00.000-08:002007-11-18T02:09:26.268-08:00Hello Again! It's been more than a year since I've been here and I feel like I'm starting all over again. It seems like everyone have their own blogs nowadays and I feel like I'm really behind so I decided that I need to update this blog and really keep up with it.

With that said... I promise to start posting more often. At least not just once a year! :-) You would think that with all the time I spend on the internet that I should be able to post more on my own blog right? Well, to tell you the truth it kind of got forgotten for a while until recently when I was asked if I had a blog.

So much has happened since my last post (but then again, that was a year ago, so duh!) so I will try as much as I can in the next few days to post a little something that happened in my life in the year that just past.

Life had been tough but of course there are a lot of things to be thankful for. There were so many trials and heartaches but most of them are just learning lessons in this journey called Life.

Well, it's kind of late now so I will come back tomorrow and post more. Goodnight!Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33578623.post-1156929857494012532006-08-30T02:24:00.000-07:002006-08-30T02:30:10.306-07:00Work.. Work...I started going to work again today. I've been promising myself for the past 2 months that I will go back to work again but everytime the day comes, I keep postponing it. I think I've used up all the excuses in the book.

Oh well, today, I finally gave in and showed up at the office. It's actually the second time this month that I went to the office so that's really quite something considering the last time I was there to actually do some work was maybe November of last year. Anyway, this time, I really need to stick to my plans and start working again. Even if it's only a couple of hours each day. I need to stop making excuses and actually going. Hopefully this will be a start of something productive for me. I need to get my lazy butt off of the computer chair and start doing something other than surf the net. It is so addicting though, I can't help myself.

If I can keep going to work for at least 3 times a week and a couple of hours a day, I think that would be good for a start. I just have to take baby steps and hopefully make it. I just have to be a full time mom too while working. No babysitters, I can just imagine how my days would be like. With a 5 year old going to school every day and a toddler that is so clingy, my days would be so busy. The only time I get to myself is when everybody else is in bed sleeping. So, that leads to a problem I've had for a while with sleeping. Even if I'm so tired, I just can't sleep earlier than midnight. I've been waking up between 7:00 - 7:30 in the morning though even if I sleep around 2:00 or 3:00. I don't know what's wrong with me. Insomnia will take its toll soon I know. For now, I know this blog will add to the list of things that will keep me up until the wee hours of the night, or should I say morning:-)

Hmmm... maybe this blog is a good tool to actually let all my feelings go. It's been so long since I've put my thoughts in writing that somehow it's so freeing. I might actually like this.Honey...Ghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03875420494616083916noreply@blogger.com0
